Navigation

With the introduction of new surgical approaches, technologies, and biomaterials, oculoplastic surgery has improved greatly since the first edition in 2002. The second edition of this successful book has been extensively revised and updated so that practicing ophthalmic surgeons, surgeons in training and specialists in head and neck surgery will benefit.

Brian Leatherbarrow’s pragmatic approach to the diagnosis and management of patients presenting with a broad range of oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal problems. As expected, great emphasis is placed on the periocular anatomy, as well as the adjacent structures.

The relevant applied anatomy for each procedure is described in detail. Within each chapter, pertinent clinical signs, investigations, surgical indications, important technical considerations and complications receive appropriate emphasis.
