- Bill H. McCarberg is Founder, Chronic Pain Management Program, Kaiser Permanente, Escondido, California, USA. He was on the board of directors of the American Pain Society and current board of directors of the National Pain Foundation. He is President of the Western Pain Society and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California at San Diego School Medicine, San Diego, California, USA.
Dr. McCarberg is Member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Pain Society, and the International Association for the Study of Pain. He has given more than 200 presentations on pain management issues and is the author or co-author of several publications.
- Daniel Clauw is Professor of Medicine, the Division of Rheumatology, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. He is also Director of the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center and Director of the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research at the University of Michigan. Additionally, he serves as Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research within the University of Michigan Medical School.
