William V. Collentro, M.S. ChE has spent nearly 45 years of his career working in water purification and related areas. He received his Bachelor's of Science and Master's of Science degrees in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Currently, he is visiting assistant professor at WPI. He is also the founder and a senior consultant for Water Consulting Specialists, Inc. of Doylestown, PA which he established in 1993.
Mr Collentro's additional academic associations include adjunct professor at Stevens Institute of Technology and a faculty member at Parenteral Drug Association's Training and Research Institute (PDA-TRI). He has written more than 100 technical articles and is on the editorial board of Journal of Validation Technology and Journal of GXP Compliance. He has also performed consulting, engineering, design, validation and related activities for over 300 clients.
Mr. Collentro is the inventor of two US patents for production of high purity water using reverse osmosis. In 1998 he received the PDA-TRI James P. Agalloco Award for excellence in teaching. He is a member of several professional organizations including PDA, ISPE, ACS, AIChE, AWWA, AFS, and WQA.
